These bindings are impossible to do up without first loosening the straps. May as well buy standard strap ins. Instructions are all but non existent, internet help is zero.

Comments about K2 Snowboards Cinch CTS:

Why are these bindings great? R-E-A-R ENTRY! Okay, there are other binds like that i.e. Flow and Gnu. Admittedly, I have never used either of those. But you buy these specific bindings so you no longer have to sit on your Aspen at the top of every lift. Period. I need, or rather demand responsiveness. I think because of that, I strap my bindings tight! These were both rigid and responsive. You cannot "set it and forget it" though, with how tight I like my straps... You'll never get the high back up... So you loosen your straps, then put your boot in - no problem. Get your foot in, then snap the high back up easily without issue and retighten your straps. 5 seconds, and I never had to sit down like an idiot, not once! I love them. I did find the toe strap to be small on my Burton Ions (boots size 10.5 with size Large bindings) and when you crank them as I do the toe straps pinch a bit... I still need to figure them out, maybe go looser (sure) but they could be wider across the toe box. And, while the canting pad was fine for my rear foot, it ends up hurting my front foot, the outside of my foot is sore by the end of the day... I wish there was no
canting on my front foot. Buckles are easy to use, seriously, no issues at all.
Cable seems fine, no issues there either. High back is Tight - I mean Rigid,
people, honestly. I have no idea how these work for park riders, I'm not that kind of
rider. For free riding and all mountain riding - they are gold.

Great bindings! The best I have ever used. But at least one part would be be better made from metal, not form plastic :( The broken part No is K2-SPT-05-LL Could you help me to find a replacement for that part?

Comments about K2 Snowboards Cinch CTS:

For a casual east coast rider or someone who sticks to groomed runs this may be the best binding made. There are a few caveats with that. One they are heavy, but if you are not riding pipe or park that shouldn't matter much. The second is you need to be flexible and strong if you want a really tight fit.I am over six feet and in decent enough shape and even I have to put some grunt into snapping the backs up.However if you can overlook those two things they are a responsive and convenient choice.I don't know how they would hold up to heavy freestyle use and I can see not being able to use the cinch feature at all in deep snow or strapping back in on a steep section, but as was said for casual riding they are the best I have used in 20 some years riding.

Comments about K2 Snowboards Cinch CTS:

If Guy is "old" (at 43), I am positively "elderly" (at 56). These bindings were a gift from my son and I think they're great. Since my contemporaries all still ski, I need to get going quickly at the top of the mountain so they don't yell at me. These do the trick with the easy entry and snap shut, even under difficult conditions. If the slope is too great for step-in, I can easily strap in the conventional way. You can't go wrong!

Comments about K2 Snowboards Cinch CTS:

I only took this binding out on 2 days of light riding and already the cable casing on one boot is ripped exposing the wire and the other one is notched and on the way. It catches on the plastic groove it's supposed to grip on in the back. You have to remove your foot, reset it and try again when it jumps the track. A simple loop would have fixed this problem. I'm hoping the tear doesn't cause a problem later on. Instructions on install are lacking for a beginner. Fits great. Feels supportive and the canted footbed is great for keeping my big feet from catching on turns. This binding is so close to being perfect.
