Boa Conda Boots Technology

Fit on the fly

The patented K2 CONDA System allows you to tighten, loosen or adjust your liner on-the-fly – from outside of the boot! The first time you try this, you’ll wonder how you ever rode without it.

How it works: A Boa® is attached to the CONDA minimized harness is securely built into the shell of the boot and tightens around the liner to lock your foot in position. Focus is on the superior ankle support and heel hold. The harness lace is threaded through a floating tongue lace guide, allowing riders to customize fit for maximum comfort.

Boa Conda Boots Technology

Double Boa Boots Technology

Fully adjustable, inside-out fit

The K2 Double Boa® System allows for separate adjustment and tightening of the liner and outer shell of the boot. Other two reel systems focus on upper and lower shell tightening. But if your liner isn't adjusted right, none of that helps. With a proper liner fit, the single coiler reel on the outer does the job.

Double Boa Boots Technology

Harshmellow - Boots Boots Technology

HEELS REJOICE

Formulated for long lasting impact absorption and vibration killing, the same Harshmellow material used in boards and bindings can be found in our boots. Integrated in the heel and forefoot areas of our top boots, minimizing rebound and making landings softer and more controlled.

Harshmellow - Boots Boots Technology

Intuition Control-Foam 3D Boots Technology

Superior heel hold and refined comfort

• A blend of high and standard density thermo-forming Ultralon® foam
• Internal/external “J” bars for increased heel hold
• Fast-In™ liner lacing system
• 3D molded EVA insole with HARSHMELLOW pods

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Maysis:

My BOA wheel broke off after 5 days of boarding. And I am not a pro boarder but I am good enough to almost never fall or do any stupid things.
Just after 5 days of use the boa wheel broke off. I have heard this is pretty common.
But nobody no dealer could make it. Nobody had the new wheel. They all had the K2 boa kit but not with the new wheel. So I couldn't use my shoe for the rest of my holiday.
3 months later my dealer has fixed it.

      Comments about K2 Snowboarding Maysis:

I bought these after owning a pair older DC Judge boots with BOA, but didn't like the new Judge BOA system. So glad I gave these a try. The Conda system rocks! No more heel lift ever. I can dial in the perfect fit with these every time and loosen them when my feet are fatigued or I need to hike up a long boot pack. Also, I constantly show off the fact that I can take these boots off in the parking lot at the end of the day in 3 seconds. After about 8 pairs of boots before these, I don't think I can ride without the Conda again. Thanks K2!

the boot was comfy and good looking. unfortunately at the end of my first day snowboarding, the boa system did not work. on my left boot, i was able to tighten it, but it would not release. this could have been quite the nightmare if i had tightened it really tight for there would not be a way to get my foot out unless i had something to cut the inner wires with. i may just return back to lace ups.

            Comments about K2 Snowboarding Maysis:

I highly do not recommend these boots!! I am an expert snowboarder and would say my old $80 Vans are better. The major downfall of these boots is the Boa construction. The Boa that adjusts tightness around the ankle is great, and keeps the bottom of my foot planted to the boot. The front Boa for tightening the external boot is not designed well. The Boa wires going from the Boa adjusting knob goes down into boot, and there is nothing tightening the boot around your upper shin. Because of this, when turning there is at least an inch gap between your shin or calf and the boot that you must engage before the boot can trigger a turn. I ride at high speeds through varied terrain and because of the lack of reaction time because of the boot, I have had many crashes. Many of these crashes are in trees because I can not jump into a turn fast enough to dodge an upcoming tree, resulting in my smacking into trees or ending up in tree wells. I not only do not recommend these boots, but would go on to highly advise against any boots that rely on tightening around the shin with the boa. Not so sure about their boards either. The only k2 board I ever had, I snapped the tail on a small jump. I weigh about 145 and rarely even snap the tail on my skateboard.

Wow!, Do yourself a favour and check these boots out. I have owned a lot of boots over the years and now I have finally found the boot I will continue to buy into the future. Comfy, light weight, adjustable, responsive. The BOA for the inner is fantastic giving you many options if you you want a tight or loose fit. After recommending them to all the fella's, two guys have bought them and are just as happy as me. Used with Flux bindings and a K2 Zero. Excellent work K2.

                    Comments about K2 Snowboarding Maysis:

I moved to Colorado earlier this year and this is my first winter. I've been to the mountains 4 times in these boots so far and I love them!

I went to REI and tried 3 other pairs of boots but these were the most comfortable. I have narrow feet and these fit well. I generally wear a 9 or 9.5 shoe. These boots are a 9 and are great. They are the easiest things to adjust. You can also put the liners in the oven to mold them (according to the REI guy...I haven't done this yet). The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is that occasionally my toes get a little cold. This is a very minor issue though, it may be because my feet are so warm that they start sweating and then get cold, I don't know. I don't want that to discourage people too much, I naturally have very cold feet even when the rest of me is perfectl warm. I would buy these again tomorrow.
