The UFO snowboard boot is the alternative Double Boa® system that gets it right. Leveraging Boa’s tightening power on both liner and out shell is the key. Endo construction keeps all this lightweight, simple and ultra durable. From critical Alaska lines to resort goodtimes the UFO has the fit dialed.

Boa Conda Boots Technology

The patented K2 CONDA System allows you to tighten, loosen or adjust your liner on-the-fly – from outside of the boot! The first time you try this, you’ll wonder how you ever rode without it.
How it works: Whether attached to a Boa® reel or part of our K2 Conda™ system, the CONDA minimized harness is securely built into the shell of the boot and tightens around the liner to lock your foot in position. Focus is on the superior ankle support and heel hold. The harness lace is threaded through a floating tongue lace guide, allowing riders to customize fit for maximum comfort.

Harshmellow Boards Boots Technology

K2’s proprietary vibration dampening system is built into all three of our hardgoods categories. HARSHMELLOW™ is a magical compound that maximizes FUN by decreasing negative vibes, leg burn and rough landings. Positioned in the insert area in our top end boards to stop vibrations before they enter your bindings.

Endo Construction Boots Technology

How it Works:
The Endo construction is based on a urethane endoskeletal structure that focuses boot structure and flex into a single engineered part. The result is a structure that flexes and returns without breaking down when compared to the stitch and glue construction of traditional boots. So you get consistent flex and a boot that returns to a neutral riding position quicker and with more energy, which helps you ride longer.

    Comments about K2 Snowboards UFO:

my favorite boots, the K2 Maysis. My Maysis are about 3 years old, have over 100 days and I still love them. Over the past year I was in the market to either replace them with another pair of Maysis or upgrade.

I tried on over 10 pairs of boots and even purchased on of the most expensive pairs from the big B company. I returned them all and was just going to stay with my Maysis for another season. I found a great deal on the UFO and went for it!

Just as amazing as I had expected! Super comfy, small footprint which is important to big footed riders like myself, double boa, heel hold. EVERYTHING IS AWESOME! They are like an upgraded Maysis,

K2 is really the only company I can fit comfortably in a size 11, negating the need for a wider board.
Other companies I'm no less than an 11.5

K2 really makes some fantastic boots, but they don't get the recognition as many other brands do.

As long as k2 continues to make boots like these I will be a lifelong customer!

        Comments about K2 Snowboards UFO:

As mentioned, the boot/boa system places too much pressure across the front of the foot/ankle - for me anyway.

I rode them for a full day on resort when I 1st purchased them In February 2014, things were a little sore but I figured that was just a product of breaking them in.

After that day, every time out by the 2nd or 3rd run I was literally in 10/10 pain. The 1st time I just pulled the chute on the day. The 2nd time I rented boots at the resort.

I switched back to my old boots, and rode for a month with no pain. Figured I'd try them again, and after run 3 I limped to the car and put my old boots on - which completely cleared the pain.

I tried loosening the boas to different levels, and then not tightening them at all, and it did not help.

I initially thought they were great, they felt great in the store and the 1st day rode relatively well - but like I said, its now killer pain anytime i ride in them.
