    Comments about Tryst Binding:

These are great responsive bindings. They were a little tough to pull up at first but then I just loosened them up a bit and had no problems and it did not affect my riding. I rode the chair behind to give others more time to latch up but I was still first to be ready. I had no problems what so ever with the wires or anything like that. I really like how easy they are to use as regular bindings for deep powder on the side of the mountain, you know like falling in super deep powder. I wouldn't mind if the the latch thing was bigger to grab. I wore mittens and it was a little tough to get my thumb in. I know it is not a big deal but that would be the biggest complaint.

      Comments about Tryst Binding:

I really wanted to like these bindings. The concept is great, the articulating movement is neat, and the blue color is super cool. BUT, they were hard to get into and took all my energy to put the high back up, so they weren't really faster than getting into traditional strap bindings. Worse yet, they were a bad fit with my Vans boa boots and ripped the soles off. I had to super glue the sole on the back foot, but the next day it happened to the front foot. These items are too expensive to have to deal with this!! Moral of the story-- check the fit with your boots.

      Comments about Tryst Binding:

I already read that the Cinch Tryst has to be given time to break in before it performs the way it's designed to be -- and that is a quick one-action motion to get into and out of the binding. But telling that to my wife is not so easy as she was struggling to open and close the new bindings. I had to assist her on the first day of boarding, and I started to wonder if this was a good purchase. But by the middle of the 2nd day, my wife was able to close and open the binding by herself. I was relieved, and she now understood why this binding is superior to the typical universal snowboard binding that I got rid of to install these K2 Cinch Trysts. Moral of the story: patience, Grasshopper, patience.
