Comments about K2 Snowboarding Cinch CTC:

Graduated from Flow Bindings and into the Cinch system. The articulating footcage and toe strap made this a superior choice over my old Flow Bindings with faster entry especially when your binding is full of snow and better edge control from the added toe strap. The only thing i would consider loosing was the durability and solidness of my old Flow. There's a bit of play even after tightening up all of the bolts on the K2.

I am an older guy of 45 and about 5'6". It's great for me since i can slide off the lift, cram my foot in, and latch the back in one fell swoop. I've gotten it down where i can latch this even while riding down on a slight grade and moving at a slow clip. Not having to stop, sit down, and get back up has been fantastic. You do need to have enough flexibility to reach down and behind your ankle to activate the lock lever while standing to really enjoy this binding.

I've had my CTCs for 4 seasons now. The wear has started to show. The foam cushioning on the high back has worn down to the plastic. The teeth on the straps have worn to a point where they sometimes pop out now. I was in Colorado last season when one of the straps popped and i wound up in the shrubbery not being able to exit out of a turn.

It would be nice if K2 provided a tune-up replacement kit to overhaul these things.

Unless someone comes out with a better rear entry pop in/out binding, i'll replace this with another pair of Cinches.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Cinch CTC:

Ok i'v had these for about 3 years now, one of the best bindings iv ever used, i came to the cinches off an old pair of flows, i got them for working patrol on a small mountain, but i do travel to other large mountains in the northeast US. they work great for park riding outside my work time, iv talked to some instructors who were also interested for their constant in and outs of their boards, and these last, after 3 years all thats gone bad is the pading is ripping off the ankle strap on my rear foot, that being said im now shopping for either a pair of cts's or ctx's, as good as these are iv heard better things about the higher up models

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Cinch CTC:

I just recently bought these bindings and absolutely love them. This type of technology is awesome. Right when I get off the lift and go to strap these bad boys in, your literally done in the flip of a lever, while your other friends are sitting down clicking there straps tight. Overall, these bindings' structural design looks solid and lasting, the composite plastics make for a very lightweight and Strong binding. Also just a side note, I own this same type of lever-lock (hinged) binding technology for the the boots/bindings on my slalom water ski from connelly and have used them for the past two years/seasons. All in all, you will love love love the speed and ease of strapping these bindings in!
