The World Wide Weapon has been pushing rider creativity on jibs for over a decade. Originally designed by the K2 team during the Robot Food era, the WWW was created as a platform for progression and originality, a style carried on in 2012-2013 by riders like Nick Dirks and Jake Kuzyk.

Great Board for Progression

Cons

  • Washout

Best Uses

  • Small Jumps

Comments about K2 Snowboarding WWW:

The WWW has helped me progress dramatically on various features in the park and groomed runs. My previous board was great for high speed carving, but I needed something smaller, more flexible, and more forgiving to not catch edges so easily. I love this board for buttering and can't get down a groomed run without spinning like a top. This board makes a mundane hill into an absolute adventure. The easily maneuverable WWW also gave me the confidence to hit jumps and progress my spins, but as the jumps get bigger the washout is more noticeable. The maneuverability of the board makes it easy for an experienced rider to tackle double-black diamonds, but with my de-tuned edges I was wary of high speeds and changing or icy conditions. In a couple years I have progressed on this board greatly.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding WWW:

it's very fun and playful easy to spin onto rails, good flex and pop. if you are in the backseat it will slide out and take you down. the heavy rocker in the nose and tail are nice they make it hard to catch the snow when under rotating spins. good board very fun!

Comments about K2 Snowboarding WWW:

Excellent in the terrain park. First board I bought specifically for the park, and if I fall, its my fault. No problems what so ever when it comes to landing a jump, jibbing, or hitting rails. My only problem with it is that when it comes to heavy powder in the back country, it gets hard to find your edge and carve. Maybe its just me but i prefer riding this board on groomed runs. 30min in deep powder and your legs will kill you on this board.

    Comments about K2 Snowboarding WWW:

board is great, dont look past it i've riding plenty of high end boards and this board to me simple is the best i rode vapor,X8,fastplant,parkstar,T2,lib tech, this board truely is the easiest board to butter and press, i find its very responsive on carves just not the best carving board, no cracks anywhere including the edge or gashes in top sheet, the bevel however does cause this board to wash out on higher speed jumps and if you drop the 5cm board size you may find it alittle harder to grab as the board is shorter

    Two warranty boards

    By maswise

    from NZ

    About Me Competitive Athlete

    Pros

    • Float
    • Good Flexibility
    • Lightweight

    Cons

    • Dye cut
    • Unstable
    • Washy

    Best Uses

    • Park
    • Powder

    Comments about K2 Snowboarding WWW:

I owned the 2010 weapon. After 3 months the dye cut started to separate. The board was warranted, but the same thing happened after 3 months in the same place - the core also cracked.
Great on rails and in the powder because of the rocker + the 3 degree bevel. However, at high speeds and on large kickers it tends to wash out because of the same features.
The washyness is a novelty at first on blue and green runs but soon becomes the bain of your riding.
The dye cut causes problems as stated earlier.
The weapon is an awesome board, but designers need not focus on too many extras like base bevel or fancy dye cut designs.
It's a great board with an awesome reputation, but it needs improvement. Get it for the right reasons.

      Comments about K2 Snowboarding WWW:

ride the rocker since beginning ! one of the best boards for extreme rail box tricks/presses and combos. i learnd double and trible combos on it ! for intens on a-frame box: 270on fs tailslide to bs noseslide to fs tailslide ! stiff enough for small or medium kickers.
but if you youse it very hard and often the edges brake to fast. for next season a 5mm edge please.
