LIGHTWEIGHT & STRONG

Hybritaper takes our Hybritech Construction, and tapers out the core at the tip and tail to reduce the swing weight. We blend the tips from a cap into a thin sandwich removing material where you don’t need it.

Comments about K2 Snowboards Brigade Wide:

This is my first snowboard I purchased. I have only rode it 3 times on three different kinds of mountains and in 3 totally different weather conditions. I found it to perform just like I expected. I rode on ice one day and it had no problem cutting in the ice and making smoothest curves you could expect. I also rode it on a day when there was nothing but man made snow in 40 degree weather and performed great. I also rode on a day when it was in the negatives and plenty of fresh powder. It did perfect going through deep powder and not catching edge. I tried to take it to the terrain park, but I'm not the best at this area, so i wouldn't really comment on it here. All I can say is that it feels to be a little heavier than some other boards I have ridden.

Comments about K2 Snowboards Brigade Wide:

As a beginner in my second winter riding, I was looking to get off my friends loaner board and buy something of my own. I could not be more pleased with the K2 Brigade! My first run on this board made me feel confidant and allowed me to really focus on how to ride. I'm excited to move from the beginner level faster than I ever thought possible!!! This board has made ALL the difference!
