The all mountain freestyle destroyer returns with the all-new Tweakend™ upgrade. Made with K2’s Bambooyah™ indestructible core and loaded with Ollie Bar pop, the 2012-2013 K2 Fastplant Snowboard pillages parks, pipes or whatever you put in its way.
A revolutionary tweek to the ends of our industry leading Baseline technology. By extending the Baseline rocker all the way out to the absolute ends of the board, new ride-able surface is unlocked, giving you a bigger, more stable platform to press, float and land on.
BAMBOOYAH® expands out into more models in this it’s second year. We now offer original Bambooyah cores and the all new Bambooyah Blended cores. Created for models that could benefit from just a little bit of Bambooyah’s incredible strength. A little it of Bambooyah goes a long way.
The Ollie bar is a totally new approach to adding pop to a snowboard. Built in place in a pre-loaded, cambered shape it solves the concern that rocker board don’t have the pop camber board have.Made with a secret layup of carbon, Kevlar and urethane layers, the ollie bar is positioned in the center of the board between the binding inserts. Strong ollies and pressing power doesn’t come from the tail alone. The backbone center section is actually more critical for smooth even pressure. You gotta try it to believe the pop.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Fastplant:
sick board and everything, you just have to be really careful, Because i just barely bumped it and the top sheet started peeling. I also hit a small rock, and a big chunk of p-tex popped off, no core, just p-tex. This board is a park board and should only be in the park.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Fastplant:
Really durable board, only broke a couple so far. Best all around board I've ever rode, handles 35+ foot cliffs just as well as 35+ booters anything less and this board is really just waiting to be used. The 5 year warranty is a huge selling point, what other board has anything like that out there?

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Fastplant:
I loved this board from the first time I strapped into it. Jib rocker is amazing, very forgiving and almost impossible to catch an edge. Flex is about a 5 out of 10 I think, which feels just right. Flex enough for tail presses etc but stiff enough to fly down the mountain at speed. The only con I have is that although the top sheet is supposedly made from bamboo (one of the strongest natural materials in the world) it chips and scratches VERY easily. I was expecting the usual marks and scuffs on my tail from impatient and disrespectful skiers in the lift queue, but the whole outer edge of my tail is bare wood where the edge has been chipped away. I'm going to have to seal it with some wood glue when I'm sure it's completely dried out. This wouldn't stop me buying this board though, no way.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Fastplant:
The FastPlant is very responsive, LOTS of pop, and stable. It is very flexible, which caught me off guard to how SOFT the ride felt. The FastPlant has definitely has allowed me to pop ollies a lot easier and higher. I love how it response to my turns. Ive never weaved thru moguls until now. Its flexibility has also allowed me to improve on my ground tricks. The FastPlant will adapt to any condition and has definitely taking my skillz to the next level and I'm going to enjoy riding even more.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Fastplant:
So sick! This was my go to board for any conditions. Fastplant 157. Solid as hell. Spring loaded pop. Sick art. What else could you ask for? It's a bit heavier than the rest of the boards in K2's line, but still lighter than 90% of the other brands boards out there. The heavier board seems to ride more solid and cuts down on the chatter, so I feel like the weight is a plus, not a negative. You won't be disappointed in this board!

I ride ice 80% of the winter. This board turns like a dream. The rocker allows you to make nice gripped turns, and it actually springs you in and out of them, I have never been on a rockered board that does this. In Poweder it flows and floats with no problem, and again, is snappy and responsice. Parkwise, be careful, it will throw you if youre not on it! Also provides the most forgiving landing gear in the world (I think its the bambooyah!)

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Fastplant:
Rode this board in the slush and I was amazed. Flex is consistent. Soft enough for jibbing and buttering. Stiff enough for the slopes. Board is very poppy. Transitions from heel to toe quickly. Turns are easy to initiate and it holds a great edge. Not a rocket, but is very quick. A little bouncy through the moguls. Super durable. Being new to the park I beat this board and myself to hell and back. Good stable landings. I actually bought this in a 156W. Even though I wear a size nine, I had no problem at all riding this board. Great board for every skill level. Sold as a park board, but it's a great all mountain freestyle. Does most everything well. Almost a quiver killer. Cheaper than a Burton. Why can't the Burton boys make a board this well with a decent price.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Fastplant:
I hopped on the 154 FAstplant this year and have found it to hold up to all conditions. I've been trying to break it in the park and Bambooyaa just won't give. Been landing heavy on the tail and it just pops back. I found even on Icy Night conditions I could hold edge fine and still handle high speed ripping. Hiked it out to the back and it was slaying the pow. found it a GREAT all around board not just a "park board" Jib rocker isn't just for jibbing it handles everywhere on mountian. K2 you are the Original Rockers and wouldn't give the fastplant up for anything else.
