Comments about K2 Snowboards Mini Turbo:

My son began snowboarding last season when he was six years old. He was struggling to link his turns on a board that was too long and stiff for his weight so I bought 90 cm Mini Turbo. Since then it's been so much fun watching him progress. He's gained so much confidence riding this board and he has great time exploring the mountain and hitting small boxes and rails.

The Mini Turbo is also very durable-- he's ridden this board almost every weekend for the past two seasons with no issues. On one occasion he was strapping in when his board slipped and went skidding down the run before smashing into a pine tree. The only damage was a small chip on the topsheet. It's safe to say he'll outgrow this board before it wears out.

On the downside, this isn't the best board for powder, but that has more to do with the size and experience of the rider. Over all, we've been very happy with the Mini Turbo and would recommend it to other parents whose kids are learning to ride.

My 8year old sons first board it isn't the dearest or the flashiest you can buy but we've just come back from his first weekend away in Austria, he got on great! He's a small8 and with the board being light and easy to carve he was on the reds and down the jump park way before he would have been with a regular design! I've got no worries recommend it...!
