The 2012-2013 K2 Turbo Dream focuses K2’s top tier board technologies into one super versatile all mountain deck. Designed to float and land the deepest pow and still hold tight on hard snow in-bounds conditions. The Turbo Dream is the wizard stick of choice for team riders Wille Yli-Luoma and Robbie Walker
A revolutionary tweek to the ends of our industry leading Baseline technology. By extending the Baseline rocker all the way out to the absolute ends of the board, new ride-able surface is unlocked, giving you a bigger, more stable platform to press, float and land on.
K2’s proprietary vibration dampening system is built into all three of our hardgoods categories. HARSHMELLOW™ is a magical compound that maximizes FUN by decreasing negative vibes, leg burn and rough landings. Positioned in the insert area in our top end boards to stop vibrations before they enter your bindings.
Hybritaper takes our Hybritech Construction, and tapers out the core at the tip and tail to reduce the swing weight. We blend the tips from a cap into a thin sandwich removing material where you don’t need it.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Turbo Dream:
I cannot speak highly enough about this board
Having come from an amazing but heavy board (2008 NS Legacy) this board was a dream (excuse the pun).
Ultra smooth, fast, easy to turn but still asking me questions like "why don't you hit that kicker, and "you're a girly-man"....this board is amazing). It rides groomers, trees and jumps like a demon. My final and last board of my snow "career", I cherish nothing else. My setup is complete with the K2 auto bindings as featured and K2 boots they work wonders together. Japan didn't know what hit it...here we go home town runs in OZ and NZ.....

I ride the Vail resorts in Colorado and coming from a never summer SL (no rocker) this board makes you the rider you wish you were. You can be riding crud, hit soft, and dodge a gape and this board will respond. Its been a low powder season to comment on fresh conditions but if it continues to ride as responsive, I have no worries it will shred.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Turbo Dream:
I used this board after a year into snowboarding in Japan and ever sense, pun possibly intended, it has weaved dreams. It inspired confidence to push harder and faster, to hit jumps, to carve walls. My friends were jealous of it because they would do something and the board kept me right along with them. Conditions on the mountains ranged from ice, slush, crowded, powder, white out and this took all of that and looked for more. Coming from Japan back to America it still is a dream to ride any day. Only "con" that I can find is that the top of the edge along the board dings easily, might be my fault on just nicking trees and other riders slamming into me when I am waiting for them to catch up xD. Wish I could buy each years model, but no need to replace perfection just yet.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Turbo Dream:
I purchased the 2011 Turbo dream and it is an awesome board, rides great in a verity of conditions. The only downside I have found with this board is that the top sheet scratches and chips very easily. For the money I don't think there is a better board out there. Overall great board I would easily buy it again!

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Turbo Dream:
Before I made my first ride on the 2010 Turbo Dream, I spent a long night celebrating my purchase. So one can imagine I wasn't in great physical shape when I made those first meters on this board. But right away, all my worries were gone. It blew my mind. Turn initiation is smooth and because of the all mountain rocker design, the boards feels compelled to initiate and carve a turn. While I rode it on a sunny day; it was only 2 days after a drop of fresh pow so there were still patches preserved, although I had to go far off the groomers to find them. Once found it revealed the second gain of the rocker design: flotation. Here, the board really lived up to its name.
On the groomers the board performs smooth and if you like some buttering, this is your board. Though a bit on the heavy side, its extra weight is compensated by it smoothness and stability; this can make you feel quite aggressive when you decent a thoroughly ridden black slope, while on those annoying green connection runs the board tends to maintain momentum thus easily overtaking the majority of folks. I haven't tested it in the park yet.
Pros: On the groomers the board outperforms all others at the low and high extremes. Everything in between makes you forget about your board and just focus on the run. In the pow the rocker design really impresses. Key words: stability, turn initiation, rocker design.
Cons: At high speeds the board tends to lose its edge.
Conclusion: The board's agility will haunt any beginner, while feeling natural and smooth to the intermediate to advanced riders. It's a lovely ride from the ultra-low till medium-high speeds, but at high speeds it tends to lose the love. The cure? Take this board to the pow!

I see a lot of people commenting that they have a previous year's model TD. They are flat out wrong about nothing having been changed. The 2011 version has Harshmellow which makes a pretty big difference in the dampness of the ride. The previous year's TDs had some stability issues on faster/steeper runs and landings. This year, the Harshmellow negates the above mentioned.
The Turbo Dream is now a nearly perfect board. The one thing that I hope they add in the coming years is pop. Although the pop is just enough to satisfy most riders, it could use a little more. Another thing that could be done is some weight reduction, but this isn't a huge deal. It's nowhere near a plank.
Overall, great board. I'm completely happy with my purchase. If you can, demo one like I did. You'll see why this is a loved board.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Turbo Dream:
Bought the 2011 model a few weeks back and have ridden it twice now, one on a rare Aussie powder day and one on a more 'traditional' hard packed-to spring slush day. Performed better than anything I have ridden on both days. In the powder it had perfect amount of float and I could just lean back on the the tail and carve. On the hardpacked stuff, the rocker made catching an edge a thing of the past and I could go faster than ever before with so much confidence. In the slush I noticed it doesn't hold an edge as well as my old Podium but still performed better than any of my mates boards.
Only problem I have is the fragility of the top sheet - I've ridden it twice and already it's got knicks and marks around the edge. Doesn't hurt the performance but I love the way it looks so I don't want it ruined.
9/10 for this board, I love it!

Bought it now together with the 09/10 Auto Uprise and I went directly out for a try out!!!
Rode it now for 4days in more or less all conditions and I am totally amazed! Hold the promisses from last years turbos and is so awesome to ride on!!!
In Park and Pipe, I got a lot of more confidence in doing tricks and jumps while the flex of my turbo gave me all reasons to try more and more and more... and it works :-)
Thank you for this awesome board

Just bought this board for some all mountain usage. I also own a Stepchild powder sucks for the park days.
I bought this board to use in Utah and try the salt lake city snow.
As of the first run I love this board, it is stable, good grip on the snow and it is FAST!!
The all terrain Rocker gives allot of confidence and you will make great progress. I have used it in the powder, kickers and some boxes so far and I love it! I wonder if I ever grab my powder sucks ever again...
