You don’t get the nickname “Party” Pelosi for being boring, that is for sure and Leanne handles it when it comes down to the fun factor. But, don't let the nickname fool you into thinking she is just a party animal. Leanne is one of the hardest working ladies in snowboarding. One of the main forces and founders behind the world’s best all girl snowboarding films, Runway Films, and founder of the only all girls snowboard camps MGT, Leanne has been doing her part to help progress the women’s side of this super fun thing we all call snowboarding. But beyond her strong business sense and work ethic Leanne has been bringing strong dedication and talent on the mountains as well…topping the Transworld 2008 Exposure Meter this year for women and beating out 99% of the guys out there Miss Party Pants holds it down.
Leanne recently moved her home base from the base of Whistler into Vancouver, B.C. where she recently purchased herself her very own condo and her first real couch ever…just ask her…she probably has a picture of it in her wallet. HAHA. Leanne also enjoys playing soccer, sticking things up her nose, playing with her dogs, traveling, hot fashions, and snowmobiling. Look for Leanne in the Runway Film “See What I See” this fall.

In a skateboard magazine, and it was a sequence of a 270 onto a rail. It was about 6 years ago.

What is one thing you do to help preserve our winters and save our environment?
I don’t use water bottles, I use my bike, I have eco-friendly appliances in my house, changed my lightbulbs and support eco friendly products.
Best trick you can do that is not on a snowboard?
The pencil around the fingers trick.
