CORES
We believe wood provides the best all around performance of any material out there. All of our woods are renewable resources and our high-end cores come with performance enhancing materials.
HONEYKOMB TECHNOLOGY:
We use urethane skinned HONEYKOMB in our top-of-the-line cores. Simply stronger, lighter, and damper than the wood it replaces. We keep the tip-to-tail, rail-to-rail wood performance by inserting HONEYKOMB only on the lower surface of the core. You get all the benefits of HONEYKOMB partnered with the tried and true performance of wood.
WH5:
The WH5 Core is exclusive on the “Ø”, uniquely shaped for our new HYBRILIGHT Construction and maximizing our HONEYKOMB technology. This is the best performing and lightest weight core in the line...perhaps in the universe.

WH4:
The WH4 Core maximizes absolutely every element of our core. With a greater percentage of HONEYKOMB than the WH3 Core, it’s engineered to maintain durability at minimal weight.

WH3:
Using the same wood lay up as the W2 core, our WH3 adds two strips of HONEYKOMB material between the bindings and the rails.

Our W1 core is characterized by a single species of pure wood with proven flex, durability, and snap. This is our standard core for entry to mid-level boards.

Since women are generally lighter and rely more on finesse than power, our women’s boards have a narrower waist width, fine tuned flex, more
sidecut, slightly less camber, and custom designed women’s cores. The K2 formula has created the ultimate platform for female riders to take advantage of their skills on the snow in style.
RHYTHYM WH4:
The WH4 Bamboo Core maximizes absolutely every element of our cores. It’s engineered to maintain durability, yet be the most naturally light and lively women’s core period.

RHYTHM WH3:
Using the same wood lay up as the W2 core; Our Rhythm WH3 Core adds two strips of HONEYKOMB material between the bindings and the rails. Stronger and lighter with added dampening and torsional stiffness.
